Answer:  Depends on which bike... the hole that can be covered is a round hole

Question:  I want to purchase 4 of these for my 2012 Tuono V4. will I need to purchase holding plates or can they be connected directly once I remove the OEM indicators.

Answer:  They can be connected directly but with plates they will stay better in your stock bases. Unfortunately none of our suppliers produces plates for your bike, I suggest to print the specs you find in our plate summary page and check with your stock plates if any of our existing plates will match yours.
