  Description

Brembo Genuine Parts Pads.

Selected by motorcycle manufacturers, Genuine brake pads are available in various compounds, each of which is characterised by a different friction coefficient. The friction coefficient is expressed with a number that has a value from 1 to 99: the higher the value of this number the higher the friction coefficient of that particular compound will be.

  • 01-35 : This is the Carbon Ceramic material developed by Brembo as OEM equipment. The evolution of the organic compound, featuring a higher carbon content. This friction material offers increased mileage, and good performance in all conditions: heat and cold, wet and dry.
  • Over 50 : This is the Sintered material developed by Brembo as OEM equipment, guarantee a high friction rate at every temperatures and with every weather.Demanding motorcyclists choose this pads for their combined low ware and high friction rate.

Please Note that every product is a set of pads for 1 caliper therefore for 1 disk, so if your bike has two front disk the right quantity is 2 products

  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
I see the part number(07BB0390) is different to that of the parts sold here in the UK from BMW. Could you tell me if these are the same a the parts number 34218562163 or is this just a BMW thing?Regards Juan
March / 21 / 2018
Answer:
BMW 34218562163 is a BMW part composed by the Brembo 07BB0365 pads + a heat plate made just for BMW. You can purchase 07BB0365, remove the plate from old pads and use it again, or just do not use it.

Question:
I know that the BMW supplied ones are sintered as are the ones you supply, but are there differences of sintered compound

Question:
Hi I have a BMW 2017 51200GS exclusive and the original pads have the following numbers on them..Rear TTH38GF 07.5270.33 BremboFront BRM10DHH 07.B809.22 BremboCan you confirm which are the closest to these that you can supply from Brembo? many thanks
May / 04 / 2018
Answer:
Hello, Rear TTH38GF 07.5270.33 = Brembo 07BB0365 , it is close to 07BB0359 , better performance rear pad for your bike is 07BB0390 which is used on Adventure versions . Front BRM10DHH 07.B809.22 = 07BB3897.

Question:
I’m searching for new rear brane pads for my 2015 gs lc. I’ve rea these are nearest to oem, but what’s the difference with the 07bb03sp? I don’t see them ons the website, are the equal?
June / 22 / 2018
Answer:
We don't sell 07BB03SP because there are some many options amoung Genuine that they will create only confusion. 07BB0365 is the pad closer to oem .

Question:
Are the brake pads the same for FRONT and REAR of BMW R1200 RT LC 2014? I have 07BB38SA in the basket for front. Is this right? What do I get for the rear... guessing they must be different? Thanks
May / 08 / 2019
Answer:
These are for rear. 07BB3897 are for Front.

Question:
Hello,I want to install the 07BB0390 braking pads on my KTM 990 adventureThe code of the KTM genuine pads is TT2172HH A while the code of the 07BB0390 is TT2172HH B.What is the difference between the above codes? Finally, which of the codes, 07BB0390 or 07BB0359, is closest to the KTM genuine pads?
July / 22 / 2019
Answer:
TT2172HH A while the code of the 07BB0390 is TT2172HH B : in our Brembo schema there last letter is not reported, as far we know thre is no difference. TT 2172 HH is the compound and it is the 90 compound theefore 07BB0390

Question:
Which are the pads for BMW R 1200 GS , BMW R 1250 GS ?
July / 14 / 2019
Answer:
We answered this question several times, specifically for single model years included in the same series anyway: we answer now in a more complete and exhaustive way, for all next and similar questions refer to this answer: BMW R 1200 GS manufatured from 2004 to 2012 and R 1200 GS Adventure manufatured from 2006 to 2013 (oil cooled), the front pads are the Brembo 07BB26 followed by compound pn , then for example 07BB26SA or 07BB26LA, Or SBS 796HS or 796SP, the rear pads are the Brembo 07BB28SP Or the SBS 742LS. For all Liquid Cooled models therefore R 1200 GS LC manufatured from 2013 onwards and R 1200 GS Adventure LC manufatured from 2014 onwards the front pads are the Brembo 07BB3897 (Or alternative compounds such as 07BB3884, 07BB3895, 07BB38SA or 07BB38LA) Or SBS 900HS or 900SP, the recommended rear pads for R 1200 and R 1250 are the Brembo 07BB0365, the SBS rear pads are 674LS. It is a bit tricky to tell which are the correct pads for R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, that's why BMW recalled motorcycles equipped with Hayes calipers, replacing faulty calipers with new units or with Brembo calipers. Hayes calipers are branded with "BMW" letters, if your motorcycle is a R 1250 or a S 1000 R or a S 1000 XR it is easy to check because over Brembo calipers you read BREMBO (if you don't read BREMBO they are Hayes). R 1250 GS 19-21 mounts Hayes or Brembo. R 1250 GS Adventure 2019-2021 mounts Hayes or Brembo. R 1250 GS Adventure 2022 mounts Brembo. R 1250 RT 19-21 mounts Hayes or Brembo. If you have Hayes calipers the front pads are the Brembo 07GR90SA, Or alternative compounds 07GR90LA, 07GR90SR, Or SBS 960HS or SBS 960SP; If you have Brembo calipers the front pads are the Brembo 07BB3897 (Or alternative compounds such as 07BB3884, 07BB3895, 07BB38SA or 07BB38LA) Or SBS 900HS or 900SP. Brembo and SBS compare: Brembo SA is similar to SBS HS compound, very prompt on lever, for everyday, sport and touring use; Brembo LA is similar to SBS SP compound, they are both the recommended street touring compound, less noisy than LA or HS, longer mileage, for everyday use also; Brembo Rear SP is very close to SBS LS rear compound they are both sintered compounds. To give space to different questions and not clog this page with similar questions, we will NO longer answer compatibility requests for these models.

Question:
Please known me if it is recommended for the BMW K 1600 GT 2011 for rear
February / 07 / 2020
Answer:
These pads are recommended.

Question:
Hello!I have a KTM 950cc Adventure Model 2004.After 16years & 65.000km the time came to change my front brake pads. From the factory my motorcycle wears Brembo Pads TT 2172 HH A - 07.5270.48.Is the compound same with that product because in the photo I see thats writes 07.5270.38?I am very satisfied from the factory pads, that's why I 'm asking it.Thank you!Greetings from Greece.Constantinos
June / 01 / 2022
Answer:
Since there is a left and a right the plates codes are diffrente, same as in your pads. Check the other side plate, you will read 38

Question:
Hi CarpiMoto. For the R1250GSA, if I use 07BB0390, would this pad be compatible with the bike’s DTC (traction control), DDC (semi-active suspension) and/or ABS stock settings? Cheers
March / 08 / 2023
Answer:
Yes, it is just a rear pad with more braking power.

Question:
Hello, Im looking forward to buy brake pads for my ktm 990 adventure 2008 year, both: front and rear set's. What would be your recomendation of brembo pads? Bike is riding on both roads: light enduro and regular roads.
March / 22 / 2023
Answer:
Light Enduro requires a compound that will be smooth on lever; road riding requires a compound that will work also in cold (cold disks / pads) / emergency conditions. There is not a compound that will do the same job, there are compound that are a compromise, for example 07BB03LA compound for front. For rear we recommend 07BB04SX .

Question:
Hi CarpiMoto. Followup question re compatibility of 07BB0390 for R1250GSA. Since 07BB0390 have more braking power than stock rear pads, would this not mess up the overall link braking system (front and rear brakes activated at same time by pulling the brake lever)? If yes, what front pads should be used to avoid this?Cheers
April / 02 / 2023
Answer:
Your user manual explains how i-ABS works: "The BMW Motorrad Integral ABS adapts the braking force distribution between the front and rear wheel brake to the loading of the motorcycle during braking with ABS control" .
