  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
Can I use this brake callipers with brake discs 310mm and 320mm? Or with only one size?On my Honda CB 1000R '08 installed brake discs 310mm. If I set the brake discs 320mm, what Caliper adapters kit for Brembo I need to buy with these brake calipers?
May / 20 / 2010
Answer:
Yes calipers suite both 310 and 320mm. I don't know which adapter you can use, Brembo provides application list just for racing bikes, maybe you can use a set for another bike, since these sets are just composed of a spacer and a longer bolts (on pairs)

Question:
Hi can I use the calipers with my 2007 CBR1000RR and stock discs/rotors, also would Brembo discs (T drive?) be a better option. Many thanks for your time. Arthur.
October / 20 / 2011
Answer:
Yes combined with 105998709 adaptors. T-Drive is more than a "better" option, it really changes the braking.

Question:
First thanks for all your help, a couple more questions if I may, 1: What master is best for these calipers I would like CNC brembo master for road/track? 2: What clutch master CNC Brembo to match for my CBR1000RR 2007? Can you give me your part numbers. Many thanks for your help. Arthur.
October / 22 / 2011
Answer:
For street / track I suggest 19RCS for brake and 16RCS for clutch. For Track 19x18 for brake and 16x18 for clutch.

Question:
I am considering buying some Brembo calipers for my GSXR1000 superbike. I am trying to choose between the GP4RX CNC P4 32/32 and the P4 30/34 CNC 2 piece calipers. They are a similar price at approx. 1000 Euros per set. The 2 Piece seem to be much lighter from the specification, but the Monoblock may be stiffer by design. Do you have a recommendation as to which is better for racing use only?
December / 05 / 2014
Answer:
GP4RX use the latest technology , I suggest this part.

Question:
Is this price for left and right calipers? included pads for them? Thanks
March / 04 / 2015
Answer:
Yes, left + right , Sintered brake pads are included and already installed

Question:
Hello, What is the advantage of the GP4RX over the M4 34? It's got smaller pistons and not a monobloc caliper and it's twice of the price compare of the M4 34.Both came with brake pads but what type are them? The GP4 RX said it came with sintered pads so that is the SA(road) or SC(racing)?Personally I prefer the look for the GP4RX but want to know more in case I did a wrong purcahsed.*I did installed a Brembo 17 RCS and stainless brake hoses on my R6 so which calipers will fit my bike more?Anything else I need to purchase to install the calipers? Like spacers, bolts or something else.Thank you.
May / 27 / 2015
Answer:
GP4 RX are very close to the MotoGP and SBK calipers, M4 is a street caliper with the old style 34mm pistons. For Street and Race GP4 + a RCS19 or a 19x16 or a 19x18 CNC master cylinder gives a braking advantage because the feeling on the lever is more progressive and you can brake also in the first part of the turn and avoid the on/off typical of big piston calipers. Both come with genuine Brembo sintered pads, which are the the 07BB3793. Spacers are required and listed along this page. Availability is provided daily by our site, for ETA updates write an email.

Question:
Hi,Is the 19 RCS more suited or the 17 RCS for this caliper. Usage will be mainly track days. What difference would one be to use the 17 RCS?Also on the new r1 2015, is it a direct bolt on or do I need to use spacers? If so, how many mm?Thanks
July / 17 / 2015
Answer:
Good Morning, RCS19 works better with 32mm piston calipers, please read the previous answer for details. If you want to use this Calipers on R1 2015 you need 220A06115 adapters.

Question:
Hi,Interested in these for a 2015 Yamaha r1. Will I need new brake lines to use them or can I use my stock braided lines? If not, will the frentubo ones you sell work?
October / 20 / 2015
Answer:
You need new brake lines. Fren Tubo can produce a custom made kit for you.

Question:

Question:
Hi. I will be purchasing these calipers and a set of Supersport brake discs from you. They are to fit on my Honda cbr1000rr 08. Do i need any spacers or bolts, or do they fit straight on? If they do need anything could you tell me the product and code. Many thanks.
November / 23 / 2015

Question:
HiFit OEM Z1000 2011 no ABS?
December / 22 / 2015
Answer:
Hi, yes they fits. You also need adapters 220A02421

Question:
Hi, I am interested in these calipers for my 2015 R1, street and occasional track use. Do the come with dust seals? Why do brembo recommend disconnecting the ABS with these calipers? If this is a more race orientated caliper, is there something more suitable for street use with ABS?
December / 26 / 2015
Answer:
ABS motor works combined with oem calipers with different liquid volume could work empty of liquid, so far no liquid will arrive to calipers... For this reason we will never write that you can use on a ABS equipped model. Right now Brembo has not yet tested on R1 any of their calipers.

Question:
I have a gsxr 1000 k9, i want to put the gp4rx calipers on it but wich master cilinder and wich discs would you recommand? Its only for track racing.
November / 04 / 2016
Answer:
WE recommend Brembo 19x18 or 19x16 Master Cylinder, T-Drive Disks.

Question:
What is the difference between the 19 x 18 a 19 x 16 and is it a great difference? .. only for track
November / 05 / 2016
Answer:
Good Morning, 19 x 16 is the extremest version, the shorter wheelbase is preferred by riders who like more power and excellent progressiveness. 19 x 18: is an extreme version too, but a bit less powerfull than 19x16

Question:
Hi, at the moment i have the m4 monoblocs on my track gsxr 1000, would the gp4rx be a good upgrade and do i need to change anything else? And the brake pads are they the same? .. if i would change the brake mc wich one would you recommand, at the moment i have the 19 RCS. It is only for track, semi pro competition. Thnx
December / 27 / 2016
Answer:
I suggest to move to GP4RX + a CNC 19x18 radial master cylinder + Supersport or T-Drive discs, Brembo master cylinder XR01171 is the right choice. M4 and GP4 use same pads. The first part to change are disks btw.

Question:
Can i use 6mm discs in these calipers or wouldn't you recommand this?
January / 09 / 2017
Answer:
You can't use 6mm disks.

Question:
You mention is one of you answers that this will not fit the stock Yamaha R1 brake lines.I have a a 2015 R1M and i'm told that i would only need a diff banjo, but it will fit with the stock lines that come with the R1M.Is this correct? Can i use my stock traded lines?
January / 17 / 2017
Answer:
What you say is correct just for the banjo. Yes you need a different banjo, however to change the banjo you need to cut the hoses therefore you need a new set of brake hoses.

Question:
I plan to buy these calipers for my Yamaha Tmax 2015 model. Is it a direct fit to my stock radial calipers ?Also I have bought a converter adaptor for my rear brake that can allow the same front calipdder to be mounted to the rear too. However for the rear, I only need one left caliper only. Do you also sell them in single unit? (not a pair for the rear). Thanks

Question:
Hi.can i use it for my yamaha tmax 530 2012-2014??
April / 14 / 2017

May / 10 / 2017
Answer:
The ABS of each bike is set up for the bike calipers, then when you change caliper there is the risk it does not work as it should do.

Question:
Good morning I have an Yamaha r1 m from 2017 , I'm whant to now if these calipers GP4 RX -P4 or the M4 ,pump and sport discs but I don't whant to mess whit abs or disconnected anything , what is your advice ?

Our advice is not to order the calipers but all the other parts.

Question:
Thanks for the useful and honest reply ! Só what will be in your opinion , the best " bolt on " parts for upgrading my brake system? Regards from portugal ????.
May / 29 / 2017
Answer:
My reply is the reply that we shall give to customers who want to change calipers with ABS system, it is the reply that Brembo wants we write to customers. If I own a R1 I will change first the master cylinder with a 19x18 (track use) or a 19RCS for road use, then brake pads, then Disks (T-Drive or Supersport), then finally calipers (knowing that ABS could not work properly).

Question:
Hi, I have a pair of the older Brembo monoblock 4 pad system. I use them in conjunction with 19RCS master, Goodridge lines, 5.5mm T-drives, Motul 600 fluid & I prefer Vesrah SRJL pads over Brembo's ZO4s b/c I think they provide better initial bite. I have two questions, one being redundant, will that 34/34 caliper work with an R-1's ABS? Why do people sacrifice the safety of that system? Is it more or less dangerous to have that system incorporated with braking at high speeds? Do MOTO GP and WSB us ABS at all? My second big question is about Brembo's "Pistabassa" rotors. T-drives are 5.5mm thick and the "Pistabassa" rotors are 6.75mm thick with a 30mm height compared to the regular T-drives that are 34mm in height. Why can't I use at least 6mm rotors, let alone 6.75 if WSB is using them now? I don't understand. Thank you for listening. Gregg.
September / 21 / 2017
Answer:
This page is about 32/32 calipers, after your email I understood that your question is not about this page product GP4 RX but about "that 34/34" = X99C461 + X99C460 old P4 34/34 CNC Calipers. The reason why Brembo (and then us) don't confirm that you can use on a ABS bike is the same We wrote in past email: ABS motor works combined with oem calipers with different liquid volume could work empty of liquid, so far no liquid will arrive to calipers... For this reason we will never write that you can use on a ABS equipped model. Right now Brembo has not yet tested on R1 any of their calipers. Regarding MotoGP and WSBK: Racing bikes don't use ABS. You can't use 30mm because the pads are too high for 30mm rotors and calipers won't work with 6mm rotors.

Question:
Is it possible to buy only one side?
February / 23 / 2018
Answer:
Hi, no it's not possible. Brembo does not sell a single caliper.

Question:
First thanks for all your help, a couple more questions if I may, 1: What master is best for these calipers I would like CNC brembo master for road/track? 2: What clutch master CNC Brembo to match for my Kawasaki Z1000/2016? Can you give me your part numbers. I may need for front and rear. Many thanks for your help. Pramote
March / 19 / 2018
Answer:
1) If you want to use a CNC master cylinder the part number is XR01171 = 19x20. You can find in this page in the linked products. 2) Z1000 use a wire clutch lever then you can't use a master cylinder. Reagarding the part number for rear I really have no idea which part would be for. I may suggest to think abbout a RCS master cylinder that can be coupled with a RCS looking clutch lever (17RCS or 19RCS + lever 110B01265).

Question:
I have a 2016 Kawasaki Z800 non ABS, I already added new HEL brake lines a month ago and gale speed mastery cylinder. Will these fit onto the bike and will they require any adapters?
March / 23 / 2018
Answer:
Hi, you can't install these calipers on Z800.

Question:
I’m planning to get these (GP4 RX) for my GSX R1000R (2017) along with supersport HPK Disc.. Do I need to get anything else to install them, like spacers / bolts ? Or do I just replace the calipers & discs.. please let me know.. thanks
October / 09 / 2018
Answer:
You need Brembo 220A02421 adaptors. Also you should check the brake lines fittings after install the calipers.

Question:
I have a 2008 GSXR1300 Hayabusa and am looking at the Brembo Set GP4 RX CNC P4 32/32 Radial Calipers 108mm mount 220B01010 with a pair of Brembo T-Drive Brake Discs 08A98535. I understand that I will need new brake lines as the banjo bolt is around 75mm higher but do I need the radial adapters 220A02421? Also would the Brake Pads Brembo 07BB37SA Sintered Street be best for street and the occasional track day? Thank you.
October / 27 / 2018
Answer:
You need 220A02421.. The best for street and eventually track days are the pads that comes with the calipers, ie genuine 07BB3793 , but on track I recommend a racing pads set, like for example The SC or RC compound.

Question:

Answer:
1)99% Yes, banjo inlet is in the same position

Question:
February / 16 / 2020
Answer:

Question:

March / 13 / 2020
Answer:
You just need adapters Part Number: 220A06117 . You can use 310mm disks without any problem.

Question:
Hello, are these calipers a proper racing product? i have got the brembo XR01170 m/c and im looking for a very good set of racing calipers to match, i have about a €1500 budget so was thinking these as my bike is a track/race bike.
April / 13 / 2020
Answer:
This caliper set is right now the best choice before the "RR" calipers, therefore are the right choice. The next step will be "RR" calipers + 6mm narrow band rotors therefore very far from your budget.

Question:
^^^^^ Thankyou for the reply, so they would be fine for track days and racing as well? Thanks
April / 13 / 2020
Answer:
Yes for sure they are.

Question:
HiIs it worth to upgrade my zx10rr year 2017 m50 clippers to gp4rx ?And how different are the two clippers In performance.
April / 25 / 2020

It will worth after you change the pads, the master cylinders and the disks and you are not satisfied yet. M50 is a caliper used on mid level sports bike, GP4RX is the best caliper you can mount and use with oem disks.

Question:

Question:
I have a TL1000 Suzuki. It has a K4 GSXR1000 complete front end. These calipers should fit fine however which T-Drive disks/spacers would suit? Couldnt see anything for K4 probably because it was an odd size - 300mm - Happy to go to 320mm or 330mm with appropriate spacers. Additionally any similar spec rear caliper to suit, currently have same stock k4 GSXR1000 setup on rear.Kind regards,Rupert
November / 01 / 2020
Answer:
If you have a K4 GSXR1000 filter our web site for this bike, these calipers will work, Supersport 208973716 will work (300mm). 208973715 (320mm) has a different off set (-0.25mm) to mount you need to adjust the fixing distance. Rear Caliper: you need a bracket, there are no plug and play calipers for your bike .

Question:
What model pads are supplied with these?
November / 07 / 2020
Answer:
07BB3793 or similar Genuine compound .

Question:
Hello. I own the Tmax 560.I am trying to install a brembo gp4rx caliperThe brake disc will also be changed to 320mm.In this case, what is the length of the bolt and spacer used when installing the caliper?.Or when using a genuine disc of Tmax 560, what is the length of the bolt and the spacer?.
December / 07 / 2020
Answer:
320mm disks on TMAX ? Stock rotors are 267mm. We don't have any feedback about 320mm on TMAX so far. We know that some owners use 300mm disks and in fact we list as a compatible modification some Brembo 300mm rotors, not any 320mm. BTW Brembo does not provide us specs about bolt and spacers for stock or 300mm disks, we can't tell you which are.

February / 04 / 2021

The system is telling that 19RCS is not compatible with stock Yamaha calipers. With these calipers: Master Cylinder: minimum recommended diameter : 18mm. For example Brembo 19x16 or 19x18 or 19RCS. Therefore you can use 19RCS with these calipers. You need specific brake lines, to request write to officina@frentubo.com asking for a custom brake line kit .

Hi, looking for a an upgrade for my system.Suzuki GSX-R 1000 2017. (race track only) I have got Brembo PR 19x18, Steel braided lines to each caliper, Z04 pads and removed the ABS system.I still use the stock disks and calipers. Is it possible that the stock brembo T drives disks are thinner than the one you have in your shop? And the m4 calipers, which are on the stock bike - are these cheaper versions or the same m4 you can buy for 600 Euros? I have my doubts.Do I need anything else, when I choose the GP4 RX calipers?
January / 07 / 2022
Answer:
1) brembo T drives : rotors are all the same thickness. M4 calipers with 34mm pistons that are sold to manufacturers are the same that Brembo sell to retailers. BUT, as far we know, your M4 calipers are M432 therefore come with 32mm pistons. To install GP4RX you need adapters 220A02421 .

Question:
Hi, Looking for a caliper to use on an endurance bike project (R6 2021). I hear the GP4RR is slim enough to remove wheel without removing calipers with the 320 rotors. Does the RX have the same outside dimensions as the RR. I.e will I be able to remove the wheel without the need to remove calipers first with the RX? Fits my budget better..
June / 30 / 2022
Answer:
RX outside dimensions 84,2mm, RR outside dimensions 80,4mm .

Question:
Hello, I have for my GSX-R 750 K6 already Radial Brake Master Cylinder Brembo 19RCS CORSA CORTA and Brembo SuperSport Brake Discs 310x100 mm. I use with the stock OEM Tokico together. And now I want to upgrade the brake Calipers. Is this product compatible with my Master Cylinder and Brembo Breakdisc or do I need to buy a new Master Cylinder and break disc? Do I need a spacers, if so which one? Thanks you for the feedback
July / 29 / 2022
Answer:
This kit is compatible with 19RCS, 220A06117 are the adapters you need.

Question:
Hi, it's this calipers only fit in 320x100 Rotors? (I have brembo supersport 310x100 disc)Thank you!

Answer:
Fits also 310mm.

Question:
Hello. Need your advice. It is a good and right choice for CBR1000rr-r 2022: GP4 RX CNC P4 32/32 Radial Calipers 108mm mount, Left&Right Calipers + Brembo Racing Pistabassa 6,75mm Brake Rotor 330mm + Radial Brake Master Cylinder Brembo 19RCS CORSA CORTA? Thank you!
August / 02 / 2022
Answer:
Not correct. GP4RX does not work with PISTABASSA. Choose T-Drive + 19mm master cylinder.

Question:
GSX R1300 Hayabusa Year 2021 This aircraft is currently equipped with a 19RCS Corsacorta. GP4-RX I want to install this caliper. Do I need additional adapters or bolts? Please provide the part number if necessary. And if I want to mount the Brembo T-Drive disc with the GP4-RX caliper on the same model, what part number should I order?
September / 11 / 2022
Answer:
Stock calipers are as well Brembo then you do not need any spacer or adapter to fix on stock forks. Right now Brembo does not produce any disk for your model year

Question:
On a Yam R6 which is the better calliper to upgrade too. The GP4 RX or the RS. Would a monoblock calliper not be better than a 2 piece?I already have the T drives, and Z04 pads. Just want to know which is the best option to go for.Thank you.
October / 13 / 2022
Answer:
The top Brembo caliper to be mounted with 5.5mm disks is the GP4RX

Question:
Looking to buy the gp4-rx for my mt09. I also want to buy the r6 310mm rotors.Since the R6 needs a 7mm spacer to fit stock rotors, and the difference between mt09 and r6 rotors is 12mm, I assume I would need a 13mm spacer (7 + 12/2)? Thank you
April / 28 / 2023
Answer:
To mount these calipers on stock disks you need 220A06115, which includes 7mm spacers and 70mm bolts. Stock rotors are 298mm therefore to mount 310mm you need +6mm spacers (13mm) and 76mm bolts. The adapter for Suzuki kit 220A06177 includes 13mm spacers and 75mm bolts. The adapter 220A06175 for Yamaha R6 kit includes 12mm spacers and 75mm bolts.

Question:
Thanks for the swift reply. I also have fren dubo lines for my stok mt09 calipers. Will these work with gp4-rx calipers? The lines came with diferent adaptors but only the MC side has a nut to replace those.Thanks..
April / 29 / 2023
Answer:
Stock lines are for stock calipers, therefore we can't confirm they will fit. You can order just the front lines, customized to fit new calipers.

Question:
Hello! Does it fit 22 Yamaha MT10 SP with or without spacers?
September / 20 / 2023
Answer:
Only with 220A06115 . Also you may need to change brake lines .

Question:
Can you please recommend the correct Brembo rotors to use for these calipers for a 2023 Honda CB1000R? Original size rotors are 310mm but I would like to run 320mm rotors with these calipers. Galfer make part # DF093CW and Braking make part # WK113L/WK113R. I would rather go with Brembo Brembo Tdrive or Brembo Super Sport rotors. What can you recommend that would cross reference for either of these part numbers or bike model. Also for reference the Galfer/Braking part numbers are from a 2013 Honda VFR1200F but they bolt right up to the newer CB1000R as a 320mm upgrade.
January / 03 / 2024
Answer:
Brembo does not produce 320mm disks for Honda CB1000R model years starting from 2018 . Only 310mm are available.

Question:
Hi, My 2018 Yamaha R6 is using Brembo 17RCS CC with Brembo supersport disk and 108mm GP4 RS calipers. Now, I want to upgrade to GP4 RX calipers, any recommended master cylinder for this situation?
February / 03 / 2024
Answer:
