  Description

Developed by Bitubo for the "traditional" front Forks, the ABB09 Fork Cartridge Kit meets the requirements of the fans who don't wish to give up aggressive driving on a "Easy Bike" or a Maxi Scooter.
The kit consists of a pair of complete cartridges, pressurised with nitrogen, with the hydraulics totally redesigned for optimum control of the forecarriage.
The top caps, in Ergal 7075,replacing the original ones, now provide for the adjustment of the preloading of the springs, included in the kit, for customised calibration.

Technical characteristics of the ABB 09 Cartridge Kit:
> Cr-Si alloy steel springs with linear rigidity
> Ergal top cap, with preload spring adjustment.
> Hydraulic unit in a sealed and nitrogen pressurised cartridge, with oversize pistons and laminar packs studied for the perfect control of damping.

  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
Hello - I am located in the United States. Will the Bitubo ABB 09 Cartridge kit fit a US spec 2008 Thruxton (carbureted with standard clip-on handlebars)? Thanks! Regards, Paul
June / 15 / 2011
Answer:
Hello this part is tested on an UK/European bike, we can't know if there is any difference with a us version. Usually there are not differences on these parts but on lights and sometimes on mufflers.

Question:
Hi,What is the spring rate for the spings in the cartrige kit, or is there a range of rates available? Is it possible to tear the valve pack down and change the shims for different damping? Thanks Chris
March / 20 / 2012
Answer:
This product can be custom made. Borns for 75/85 kgs riders but can be suited to your request. Just specify before the order and we will check. So answering to your question I say Yes it is possible to receive this cartridge with a specific spring rate,

Question:

Answer:

Question:
I want to purchase Bitubo Fork Cartridge Kit Triumph Thruxton 09-11.My weight with riding gear is 94.5 kg.What spring rate would be recommended by Bitubo? Thanks Chris
August / 21 / 2012
Answer:
If you ride sporty you could use a harder springer but you are really close to the stock weight of this cartridge that a stiffer spring could compromise your confort. My opinion is not to change the springs, you can just use preload.

Question:
I am interested in purchasing this kit but would definitely need a stiffer spring. I weigh about 205 kg. Can I order it with a stiffer spring and what spring rate do you suggest. How long would it take for delivery to the US.Thanks
September / 17 / 2012
Answer:
I have just talked with Bitubo regarding your request. First of all you know that your bike was not developed for your weight, therefore even Bitubo has not a spring for your weight. But we can supply this part with the stiffest spring rate available in Bitubo. The standard rate is 0,8Kn , the stiffest is 0,9Kn. This solution will be absolutely better than the stock fork setting. To order just specify in the cart that you want the stiffest pring rate.

Question:
Hey guys .. I would like to set my 2004 Triumph Thruxton up with Bitubo fork cartridge kit and some Bitubo rear shocks, stock ride height with black springs and not with external reservoir (maybe the T0012WME03). Rider weight 78kgs If thats the correct rear shock please confirm fork cartridge kit will work on 2004 Thruxton .. thanks

Answer:
HelloTo find parts that match your model year you must filter our site by your bike and choose products that are specific for your model year. For example this part is not specific for your model year but we got the "Matris Fork Cartridge Kit for Triumph Thruxton 900 04-"If you got problem write to info@carpimoto.com

Question:
Dear Sir, I had purchased a Bitubo Fork Cartridge kit (T0018ABB09) for my Thruxton 900 (model year: 2012) with you last July. Apparently, I did not specifically ask for the correct spring rate to suit my weight (63kg) when ordered it. It is a good product, but the fork cartridge feels so stiff even when the preload set to "level 0". The Suspension sag measured in "level 0 preload" is a little less than 10mm. I wonder if there is a more suitable spring for my use?
April / 09 / 2013
Answer:
Bitubo suggest to modify oil level to 155mm.

Question:
Hello, I know many have already asked, so sorry to keep asking the same thing. I am 104Kg and would like to know what the best spring rate for me would be? I ride all street but I like a sporty ride. My other bike is a GSXR-1000 and I would like a ride that is in between the GSX-R and my stock suspension of the Thruxton. Thanks!!
May / 09 / 2013
Answer:
If I were you I will use the 85-100 Kgs Rider Weight. You will udjust (if you need) the preload to match your weight.

Question:
Hello, I've been looking into purchasing a set of the Bitubo fork cartridges (T0018ABB09-080) and the rear shocks (T0018WMT02) for my thruxton but I had a question regarding the shipping. I notice there's no expected delivery date on the rear shocks, but the cartridges say 12/02/15? I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't take an entire year to receive them. I'm located near New York City in the USA. How long does it normally take to ship these items? Just looking for a rough estimate. Thank you very much for your time.Regards,Dan Glicksman.
